LET'S TALK ABOUT EQUALITY AND RESPECT - EQUIPPING YOUNG AUSTRALIANS TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST IPV

FVREE's training program will equip up to 2,000 young people per year with the skills and confidence to take action to prevent and respond to intimate partner violence in their community. The interactive session explores gender, equality, and building respectful relationships.

INTERNAL TRAINING FOR YSL BEAUTY CORPORATE AND L'ORÉAL LEADERSHIP TEAM

The project will provide training to YSL Beauty corporate and L'Oréal leadership team, designed to build the capacity and confidence to help people experiencing family violence. The training is built around the '3Rs' framework:
- Recognise: signs of family and intimate partner violence
- Respond: appropriately to disclosures of family and intimate partner violence
- Refer: safely to specialist family and intimate partner violence services

EDUCATION AND TRAINING  FOR  YSL BEAUTY ADVISORS 

Interactive workshops to teach professionals working in the beauty industry to spot possible signs of family and intimate partner violence, and know what to say and do if a client or colleague shares their experience. The learning outcomes include:
- Recognise signs of family and intimate partner violence
- Respond to disclosures of family violence, including starting conversations with clients and colleagues about possible signs of abuse
- Refer to specialist family violence services, including appropriate ways to offer help and support

RAISING AWARENESS: ADVOCACY AND PR

Social media and related campaigns to raise awareness of IPV in Australia, spread the message that Abuse is not Love, and promote primary prevention  work.
